More Fundraising with the Pizza-Porta - Pizza for a Cause
Our friends and customers in Ohio took fundraising with the Pizza-Porta to the next level. They got the cooking team, Ship Of Fools BBQ, together for a pizza cook to raise money last week. Their efforts raised $800 for Wheels, a local Cincinnati organization!
The team asked for a $10, per pizza, donation and sold all 54 pizzas before they even fired up the grill. They offered Pepperoni, Cheese, and Cheeseburger pizza that I have to try. Here are some of their photos.
The facebook feedback on the pizzas was amazing. By popular demand they are actually planning another event in the future. Donations were even received remotely for a pizza delivery to a local firehouse. Check out Ship of Fools BBQ on Facebook for more.
“Our eggfest cook team, Ship of Fools BBQ, cranked out 54 pizzas yesterday using the large BGE, the double stack rig, the Pizza-Porta and Jealous Devil lump!! We were running at 600° all day and only had to reload 1 time.”
